The Lady Captain opened the meeting at 2.45pm.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Lady Captain stated that there was a requirement for a Rules Committee. Following
discussion it was decided that the committee should consist of the Lady Captain,

The Lady Captain asked the Handicap Secretary to explain the situation regarding
Carol Davis’s handicap. Sandra reported that Carol had submitted her three cards
for handicap as required, however, after discussion, the Handicap Committee
decided that whilst the three cards were mandatory, her new handicap would be
more appropriate if calculated in the same way as other members’ CONGU
handicaps had been converted.
The Lady Captain reported that the cost of sandwiches that ladies have on Medal
mornings have gone up from €1.50 per head to €2.00 per head.
The Folkard Vase is sponsored by the Bike Shop. However, Eva Karayiana from the
Laiki Bank also donated a glass vase to the winner last year. The Lady Captain
enquire if she wishes to do so again this year. Lesley agreed to purchase the prizes.
It was agreed to start the competition at 9.00am. Following discussion it was decided
not to provide food as meals could be purchased from Sodhexo.
The Competition Secretary reported that approximately 40 couples had entered to
date. The Lady Captain is to ask Denise Ravenscroft about HWH. Margot Watt and
Maria Anderson have agreed to purchase the prizes.
The Bank current account stands at €4,323.85c.
The Treasurer reported that this sum included the €1,000.00 that the Ladies have
agreed to pay towards the pond.
Fixture list changes- Etko Ladies Open at Episkopi has been changed from Dec 6th-
7th to Jan 10th- 11th 2009. The Cessac International at Episkopi will be played on Dec
instead of 10th Jan 2009.
There being no other business the meeting was closed at 3.30pm
