Men’s Knockouts 2011 – 2012
PLAY OFF SCENARIO’S & SHOTS RECEIVED
Please be aware that in the event a match remains all square after 18 holes, that a playoff commencing at the 1st is required.
A sudden death playoff should then be played from the 1st through 18th (if necessary) - until a winner is arrived at.
During the playoff the player/players receiving shots will be entitled to any shots due against the respective stroke index.
The players receiving shots are responsible for making sure that any shots due to them are taken into consideration when establishing the result at any hole and before commencing play on subsequent holes.
In the event that a match is suspended during play for any reason then the match recommences from the same point on the course, whenever play resumes.

Men’s Knockouts 2011-2012
Entries and payment for the 4 Men’s Knockouts the Stewart Bowl, The Island Shield, The Canada Cup and The Fairway’s Cup are all due by 26 October 2011
The likely schedule for the rounds to be completed for all four of these competitions is as follows:
Draw published Fri 28 Oct 11 and the clock starts then!
1st round completed by close of play Sun 11 Dec 11 6 week bracket
2nd round completed by close of play Sun 12 Feb 12 9 week bracket
3rd round completed by close of play Sun 25 Mar 12 6 week bracket
Semi Finals completed by close of play Sun 29 Apr 12 5 week bracket
Finals completed by close of play Sun 20 May 12 3 week bracket
I would suggest that those are pretty generous intervals during which it should be possible for competitors to make arrangements to play. In the event that the Knockout levels of entry fall below those of previous years and less rounds are required adjusted time frames will be published as appropriate.
