1. Minutes of the last Meeting
Matters Arising-
Entry forms for the RS Associates and the package for the Festival of Golf are all distributed. A reminder email will be sent out to all clubs.
Web site- Kevin Hayes has now taken this over and progress is being made. Ours thanks to him.
Subscription to Women and Golf has been renewed.
Photos have been updated apart from the Chairman’s Putter. (Action – Lesley)
2. Competition Secretary’s Report
RS Associates- 26 entries so far, food will be a carvery/roast, tbc. Prizes will be from Candy Bouquet and vouchers. Half Way House will be open, but there is a query about who will provide breakfast, depending on the building progress. Clarification later. (Action – Chris)
A letter has been received from Roger Sheratt (the sponsor). In this he has asked for Brian Mellor, Ron Simpson and Paddy Hughes to stand in for him to present the prizes due to illness. This will be broached with the gentlemen by the Lady Captain, and she will reply to Roger that she is happy with these arrangements. Copies of photos and the newspaper report will be sent to him, along with a thank you gift, via Lesley. Finally Roger has sent extra sponsorship money to include payment for drinks for the ball spotters and helpers on the day. (Action – Lesley)
Bambos Cup- March 3rd, last tee time to be around 1.30. No entry fee, thanks to generous sponsorship
BCC Ladies Open on 12th and 13th April – sponsorship not yet received, Lady captain to chase up, but if there is a problem, another sponsor may be available. Prizes will be from Tyrone Crystal, via Morgan, and vouchers. (Action - Chris)
The Coronation Foursomes (now to be called the Dhekelia Coronation Foursomes) on 6th March will cost 4 euros per pair to enter. Sponsorship has not yet been received.
