Minutes of the last Meeting
1. Matters Arising-
Web site- The Ladies’ page and information has been updated. Ladies are encouraged to give their date of birth to Fiona Swindell for access to Datagolf. Fictitious dates may be used but will affect age related competitions such as Hens and Chicks.
Following a request from the Ladies, the Lady Captain will ask Sodexho for a costing for medal day sandwiches. It was felt the order sheet worked well this morning for food. (Chris)
The coach is booked for the Rebecca Plate and will be fully paid for by Ladies’ Section funds.
A sponsor for the All Winners is still pending.
2. Lady Captain’s update
The Rebecca Plate is going ahead as planned and a team for the Interclub is being sorted. For the Interclub there will be a team of 12, with the best 10 scores to count. Supporters will be welcome but they won’t be able to play due to the shotgun start and size of the course. The format of the day was decided by the hosting captain, as agreed at the fixtures meeting in July 2007, attended by all Lady Captains. (Chris)
The money from the sale of tea and coffee will cease as soon as the new vending machine is operational. This machine will be the only source from then on, therefore the Ladies Section will lose this source of revenue.
Nomination forms for the new committee will go up around April 28th. (Lesley)
