1 Minutes of the last Meeting
Matters Arising-
Lady Captain has asked Sodexho for a costing for medal day sandwiches and is awaiting a response.
A sponsor for the All Winners has been found, JJT Distribution Ltd and Lady Captain is to pursue.
A list is now up for the new committee for next year.
Food for the Thermosolar Open was cancelled, and monies returned where appropriate. (Chris)
2 Lady Captain’s update
The Ladies’ Open in the Festival of Golf went well, the table was set out beautifully and the prizes were well received. The sponsor was unable to attend, so the Chairman presented the prizes in his place. Thank you gifts
for afterwards will be affected by the response from Sodexho ref bar times etc. A poster will go up soon.
Mary Plant, a previous Lady Captain, is leaving soon, and a farewell meal has been arranged for Friday May 2nd at the Metropolitan. (Chris)
3 Competition Secretary’s Report
No Bunnies’ Bowl competition was held due to a lack of competitors. The competitions for the rest of the season are in hand. The All Winners will be held in conjunction with the Men, and Lesley will liaise with Mike re organisation. For clarity, Ladies eligible to play are the winners and runners up in the medals, Brandy Cup and Bambos Cup. Lesley will produce a list, and the May medal will also be included. A stableford competition could be run on the same day for interested Ladies not in the All Winners.
The Adam and Eve competition will be linked with Breast Cancer, with the raffle proceeds being donated and badges being sold on the day.
